Egypt has placed its anchors: a National AI Strategy targeting $42.7B in annual AI value by 2030, Huawei Cloud’s live Cairo region, and a signed Egypt–China development cooperation strategy. The corridor adjacent to those anchors — data-centre infrastructure, edge compute, the Arabic application layer and vertical AI — is open, and not yet built out.
